Antuña & Partners is the international arbitration law boutique with unique experience and focus
on quantum. Founder and managing partner Antolín Fernández Antuña (Arbitrator, Lawyer and
Economist) is internationally acknowledged, having acted as Counsel in 42 Investor-State
arbitrations, as “one of the world’s most experienced lawyers in Investor-State arbitration” (Jus
Mundi, 2019).
As State Finance Inspector (on leave) and expert in international taxation, he has performed
financial and tax investigations of a multitude of domestic and multinational corporations, some
listed in IBEX 35, FTSE 100 and NASDAQ 100. This is where his varied academic background
and hands-on experience with the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance (since 2004) and the
Kingdom of Spain’s in-house International Arbitration group (Abogacía del Estado), combine to
offer a unique blend of skills in both Law and Finance.
He is admitted to the Bar (ICAO 6701, Spain), Certified Accounts Auditor (ROAC 22593) and holds
a Master of Public Administration, Public Policy and Taxation. He is a member of organizations
such as the International Bar Association (IBA, Arbitration Committee), the International Council
for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), the Spanish Arbitration Club (CEA), and the British Institute of
International and Comparative Law (BIICL).
